Passing Moments reflects on the collapse of time and space within a person’s psyche in the relationships and dynamics of the different typology of spaces (from public, private, secret).
This is even apparent as one deals with the physical solitude experienced during the lockdown of Covid-19 pandemic crisis, especially spaces we had to forgo while working from home – between travelling to work from home or work back to home. The piece moves between different time dilations and of spaces. Represented by the conscious, subconscious, and unconscious worlds, Passing Moments attempts to find new ways to manage these changes during such difficult times, physically, emotionally, and mentally.
The original design of the work is intended to be experienced through a 3-channel video installation. The singular video iteration is featured for OH! Open House.
